Viisights develops a video intelligence service that analyzes and manage video content for specific advertising campaigns, and also analyzes real-time footage from security cameras.
Tel Aviv-based video analyzing startup Viisights Solutions Ltd. has raised a $10 million series A funding round, the company announced Monday. The round was led by Canada-based homeland security fund AWZ Ventures Inc., with participation by Tel Aviv-based venture capital firm Firstime Ventures, which led the company’s seed round.
Founded in 2015 and based in Tel Aviv with 15 employees, Viisights develops a video intelligence service that analyzes and manages video content for specific advertising campaigns, and also analyzes real-time footage from security cameras. The company markets its products mainly via collaborations with distributors such as Japanese information technology provider NEC Corp. and Motorola’s data communication subsidiary Motorola Solutions Inc.
The company intends to use the funds to increase its sales and marketing team and boost its product development.
